Nollywood actress pens good luck message to Falcons ahead Norway clash
Nollywood actress, Uche Jumbo Rodriguez has conveyed her best wishes to Nigeria’s Super Falcons as they open their World Cup campaign tonight against the Grasshoppers of Norway in the second match of Group A in Reims, France.
Rodriguez will be one of the millions of Nigerians cheering the Africa champions to victory even though statistics appear to give it to the Europeans whose best performance remains winning the 1995 edition in Sweden.

Nigeria who are number 38 on the latest FIFA ranking which makes them the least ranked team in group A are yet to repeat their 1999 feat where they reached the knockout stage in the USA before bowing out to Brazil in extra time. Norway occupies the 12th position.

The Thomas Dennerby-led girls have however promised a better outing which means surpassing their quarter-final outing. In the opening match of Group A played on Friday night, France who are fourth in the world shocked 14th placed Korea Republic 4-0 to top.
