NPFL: Enyimba’s maiden goal thrills Atule
Enyimba forward Joseph Atule is delighted after netting his first goal for the People’s Elephant in Wednesday’s game against Bendel Insurance.
Chijoke Mbaoma added the second goal to hand Enyimba maximum points in the rescheduled NPFL matchday one fixture.
Atule has struggled in front of goal since jhis switch to Aba giants from Lobi Stars.
Reacting after the match, Atule said he was excited to open his goal account for Enyimba having featured in all their games this campaign.

“I’m very happy and it is a thing of joy because I believe there is time for everything,” he told the club’s media.
“Despite the performance having played so many matches without a goal I keep on working hard and am very happy I was able to score again.”
