NPFL: Katsina United pip Bendel to end winless run

Katsina United defeated Bendel Insurance 1-0 on match day 14 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina, Katsina State.

Chidera Ezeh scored the winning goal from the penalty spot for Katsina United 16 minutes from time to ensure all three points for the Ikon Allah Boys.

The victory ended a run of five games without a win for Katsina United, who moved to ninth position on the NPFL table following. Bendel Insurance remain in fifth position following the defeat.

Nine other match day 14 matches will be played on Sunday across different stadium in Nigeria.
