NPFL: Rangers ready to pocket three points at stake against MFM

Rangers International F.C’ mercurial midfielder, Chiamaka Madu has assured that the club are on a mission to reclaim the three points the team lost to MFM earlier in the league when  both sides clash  at  the  Agege Township stadium, Lagos.

Chiamaka who is just coming back from a long injury layoff and sat out the duration of the match day 22 win over Adamawa United is full of optimism of wrestling all three points from the church team that ran away with a 1-0 victory on November 17, 2019 in a match day 3 encounter inside Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu as both teams clash in the reverse fixture.

“We know what is at stake and we are determined to snap up all three points at stake just as they did to us when they visited us earlier in the season. Yes, we are occupying a position that does not depict the effort the management, coaches and players have put in this season but we are poised to make a change for the better,” stated the midfield maestro.

Madu further said, “This team, MFM, defeated us at home and caused us a lot of pains and looking at the log, you will understand that every match means a lot to us. By God’ grace we shall come out with the three points at stake. It is going to be a grudge match. Even before our last match, we had our eyes, mind and everything focused on the MFM match. I assure our fans that we are fully prepared for whatever they are bringing on match day.”

Also speaking ahead of the encounter in Lagos, attacking sensation, Israel Abia who has scored ten goals in the season, said, “I was not in Enugu when the first encounter took place but I am in the best frame of mind to help my team achieve the needed success and push us up the ladder. From what I have seen here, we have quality that can take us to a top three finish or even winning the trophy for the eighth time. M.F.M is a good side but I believe we are a better team.”
