Nwobodo, Egbuchulam visit Rangers, thumbs up innovative changes

F.C Cincinnati’s midfield maestro and 2015/2016 NPFL winner with Rangers International F.C , Obinna Nwobodo, Thursday, visited the corporate head office of the ‘Flying Antelopes’ to felicitate with the new management led by Barrister Amobi Ezeaku and gave a thumbs-up for the innovative changes that have taken place in a very short time.

He was visiting after his NPFL trophy-winning teammate, Chisom Egbuchulam who now plies his trade with Chinese Super League club side, Sichuan Jiuniu F.C, had late last week also paid a visit to the renovated corporate office where he also praised the efforts of the current management in taking the club to a higher level.

After being around the newly renovated edifice, the midfielder who returned home to celebrate Xmas with his family members, also extended some goodwill to the staff of the corporation while thanking them for all they did in his career.

Nwobodo, who has his face well adorned in the Rangers Wall of Fame thanked the club’s management for considering him for such recognition and honor while charging players, coaches, staff, and top management staff to always be at their best in order to take the club to the level befitting it in the committee of top football playing clubs around the world.

“I just came to say a big thank you to all members of staff of the club for the wonderful innovations that are taking place here which would make me proudly tell whoever cares that I passed through this great club. With information available through the club’s various social media handles, and the massive renovation work of the corporate office, who would not be proud to be a Rangers player? I was here last year for my marriage and did not have much time to be with you, but this time, I am here for you to celebrate Christmas in my own little way. Sincerely, I am proud of been part of this great club, Rangers International F.C.,” stated the F.C Cincinnati 2023 Supporters’ Shield winner.

G.M/CEO of Rangers, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, while welcoming the former FC Inter, Enugu, star to his office, praised the meteoric rise of the footballer and charged him to put more effort towards becoming a more celebrated footballer with the qualities he is endowed, stressing, “I have to thank you for coming on this visit. It shows that you remember your humble beginning and it is our wish that you continue to grow higher in this game.”

Administrative Secretary of Rangers, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua while thanking the player for his kind gesture, urged him to remain a good ambassador of the club and aim for the highest there is to be attained in his chosen career.
