Omeruo denies Sadiq Umar’s Almeria Spanish Segunda Division top spot
Super Eagles defence ace Kenneth Omeruo was among the goals for CD Leganes to deny compatriot Sadiq Umar and his UD Almeria teammate top spot of the Spanish Segunda Division on Wednesday night.

Sadiq netted his 12th goal in the league courtesy of a sweet finish after eight minutes into the contest in Madrid.
However, Leganes leveled scores moments after the restart, before Omeruo added the second in the added time to decide the contest.

Leganes are currently placed fourth on 46 points, while Almeria are third with 49 points.
Mallorca lead Spanish Segunda Division with 51 points.
