Onuachu sacks agent after missing out on big transfer last summer

Super Eagles forward Paul Onuachu has sacked his agent Patrick Mork of Mork’s Global Soccer Management after failing to seal a widely expected transfer to a major league despite his goals haul last season.

The Nigerian international has now teamed up with Spain-based Niagara Sports Company that also manages other stars like Dani Olmo (Leipzig), Tiemoué Bakayoko (AC Milan) and Alvaro Morata (Juventus).

Interestingly, in June, another Nigerian star, Alhassan Yusuf, did not extend his agency agreement with Mork and he subsequently moved to Belgian club Antwerp after distinguishing himself at Swedish club IFK Goteborg.

Onuachu was Goal King of the Jupiler Pro League and netted 35 goals in all competitions last campaign.

Despite such impressive stat, he did not cash in on a big transfer away from Belgian topflight

At the last count, Unuachu has been linked with top clubs like Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan alongside Arsenal and Brighton in the English Premier League.
