Onyekuru’s Galatasaray targets victory to seal UCL knockout spot

Nigeria international Henry Onyekuru will be aiming to help Turkish side, Galatasaray reach the Champions League knockout stage tonight after a disappointing campaign which has seen them win just two matches.

Onyekuru who has never scored a Champions League goal will be looking forward in breaking the jinx if selected.

The Nigerian has so far scored four league goals since arriving from Everton on loan this season.

The Turkish side who have played eight matches in the current campaign are third in the group and are up against Locomotiv Moscow at the RZD Arena.

A win would  seal their qualification while hoping FC Porto defeat Schalke 04 in the other group game.

On the contrary, if the match ends in a draw, and Schalke 04 picks up a point against Porto, Galatasaray will drop to the less fancied Europa League.
