Peseiro reveals target for Super Eagles after FIFA rankings

Jose Peseiro has hinted that he wants to continue as the head coach of the Super Eagles while reacting to the latest FIFA rankings.

On Thursday, Nigeria rose 14 places in the rankings and are now 28th in the world.

After an impressive run at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the Eagles are now rated the third best team on the continent, only behind the pair of Morocco and Senegal.

However, Peseiro has now posted an image on his Twitter page, in which he said he wants the team to be number one in Africa.

Peseiro is currently out of contract after the conclusion of the AFCON tournament.
