Pique savouring moments with girlfriend Clara Chia

 

Gerard Pique appears to have completely moved on after breaking up with respected singer and global waka Queen

Shakira.

Pique looked more loved up than ever with girlfriend Clara Chia Marti as they strolled hand in hand to Coldplay concert in Barcelona on Sunday.

The couple, who went public with their romance last year in the wake of the footballer’s split from Shakira, have not been shy of flaunting their romance.

They looked smitten as they headed into the Estadi Olympic Lluis Companys, with Gerard, 36, beaming from ear to ear.

The former Barcelona FC player was casually clad for the outing, teaming a denim jacket and jeans with a grey Nike jumper.

Sartorially in sync with the athlete, Clara, 24, also opted for denim in the form of wide legged jeans that she paired with a black vest and cardigan.

The couple looked refreshed and tanned on the outing, after reportedly heading to Abu Dhabi for a romantic break to celebrate Clara’s 24th birthday.

The trip coincided with the first meeting of the two lawyers who represented Shakira and Gerard throughout their drawn-out child custody negotiations to ‘dot the i’s and cross the t’s’ on the former footballer’s first visit to Miami since the departure of Milan, ten, and Sasha, eight, from Barcelona with their mum.

Shakira’s split from Gerard was confirmed last May after a relationship lasting 11 years.

Their breakup was not entirely unexpected as Spanish tabloids had already claimed the couple were on the verge of breaking up, with sources claiming Gerard had cheated on the star.

Her brief statement read: ‘We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.’
