Prosinecki: Why Messi better than Maradona

Former Real Madrid and Barcelona star, Robert Prosinecki, has declared Leo Messi as the greatest of all time.

Speaking to DAZN, Prosinecki insists the longevity of Messi is key to him being superior to fellow Argentine Diego Maradona.

“For me, Messi is the best there is. He has made the difference in Barcelona for so many years, he has won everything that can be won, he has scored so many goals, he has given so many assists … not to mention how he is playing at football …,” said the Croatian.

“Some may say Maradona, Ronaldo … they are surely very good players, but for me Leo is the best there is.

“Someone can say Cristiano Ronaldo, the Brazilian Ronaldo, who also won almost everything alone, but if I have to say one, for me the best is Leo Messi.”
