The Nigeria Supporters Club have been warned to put their house in order or forget about going to the FIFA World Cup in Russia, SportingLife.ng can reveal.
The two factions were planning to travel to Russia to cheer the Super Eagles.
This won’t be possible after Sports Minister, Solomon Dalung warned the body to settle their differences which he disclosed to one of the factions headed by Vincent Okumagba who paid him a visit last week in Abuja.
SportingLife.ng gathered that the minister told Okumagba that the group would only be allowed to travel as one unit.
“The minister told Okumagba that the two camps must meet for an amicable solution. You can imagine what would happen if you find two groups in the stands cheering the team? It would be a national embarrassment,”” said the source who was privy to the meeting.

The group has been in a running battle since December 2016 when elections were separately conducted by the two factions in Abuja and Lagos.
While one faction is led by Rafiu Ladipo who has been there for years, the other is led by Okumagba who is alleged to have the backing of the present leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation.
