Ramos set to miss Semi-final clash

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos could miss the first leg of his side’s Champions League semi-final.

Sportinglife.ng on Thursday gathered that Madrid defender risk suspension for watching the dramatic final moments of Real Madrid v Juventus on the bench.

The centre-back missed the second leg of the tie through suspension, but stood beside the pitch at the Bernabeu to support his teammates as Cristiano Ronaldo struck a 97th minute penalty to secure progression.

Ramos’ assumption of a pitch side viewing position is against the rules and could result in a further suspension.

The referee and match officials have however captured that incident in their match report. The league official would, as gathered would decide Ramos fate on Friday.
