Real Madrid perfect plan to re-claim Ronaldo from Juve

Real Madrid have prepared an offer to ‘rescue’ Cristiano Ronaldo from Juventus in the summer, according to stunning reports.

Ronaldo, 36, has been in fine goalscoring form in Turin since he completed his sensational £99.2m move back in 2018.

However, the Juventus superstar’s future has been in doubt after the Old Lady’s exit from the Champions League.

Ronaldo’s current deal with Juventus expires in 2022, but the Portuguese forward has been linked with a return to Madrid and a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Spanish TV channel Cuatro, Madrid would only be required to pay a “symbolic price” to re-sign their all-time record scorer from Juventus.

But Los Blancos’ ‘Ronaldo plan’ would only include an offer to sign him to a one-year deal due to financial reasons.

Cuatro added that Madrid would offer the defending Italian champions a “small fee” as part of the deal.

Another option on the table for the Spanish club would include swapping a player to Juventus, according to Cuatro.

Reports in Spain claim that Juventus would be ‘happy to trade a player’ from Madrid, such as Isco, as part of the deal.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane teased earlier this month that Los Blancos could make a summer swoop for Ronaldo.

However, the 48-year-old Frenchman recently intensified speculation after confirming that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s return to Madrid ‘could be true.’

Zidane said: “Rumours about Ronaldo’s return to Real Madrid are true?

“Yes, it could be… we know Cristiano but he’s a Juve player now, and we have to honour this, he’s playing for another club.

Ronaldo has scored 30 times and registered four assists in 33 appearances across all competitions this season.

Juventus are currently third in Serie A and are 11 points adrift of league leaders Inter Milan.

Andrea Pirlo’s men will return to action on Sunday as they host Benevento at the Allianz Stadium.
