The 67-year-old coach faulted the decision of the football governing body to hold the game two days after the FIFA window would have opened.

He also wondered why CAF did not consider the team’s preparations towards the match and other logistics before arriving at the date.

The German vented his anger through the Twitter handle of London based journalist Osasu Obayiuwana on Saturday.

“Our game against Benin is on November 13th, which is a Wednesday. The @FIFAcom window opens on Monday. When will our players arrive and prepare for this game? It’s ridiculous. We need to be respected and I have spoken to @CAF_Online’s @AnthonyBaffoe about it,” Rohr said.

The 67-year-old coach said he had also spoken to the Benin Republic head coach, Michel Mdussuyer on the situation.

“I have also spoken to Michel Dussuyer, the Benin coach, as well. We need this date to be changed, so that the teams can arrive and train properly, for this game. Match scheduling must be done properl,.” he added.
