Ronaldo to buy dinner for teammates after making peace with Sarri

 

Cristiano Ronaldo has planned to buy his Juventus teammates dinner before Saturday’s Seria A fixture against Atalanta after admitting that head coach Maurizio Sarri was right to have replaced him during a league match against AC Milan.

The 33-year-old scored his 99th international goal for Portugal against Luxembourg to qualify for next summer’s European championship.

The forward who has been at the centre of a storm owing to the way he reacted angrily to his substitution during a league match against AC Milan before the international break.

He is expected back in Turin on Tuesday and would surely meet with the club officials on how to arrange the outing to apologise to his teammates for his behaviour.

The forward stormed out of the Allianz Stadium before Juve’s win over AC Milan had finished, following his 55th minute withdrawal.

He was replaced with Paulo Dybala who went on to score the only goal of the match.
