Ronaldo: United return will be emotional

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo has acknowledged that playing against Manchester United will be emotional.

The former Manchester United star returns to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League since departing 10 years ago.

it will be Ronaldo’s second time at the Theatre of Dreams on Tuesday night where he spent six years of his career before leaving in 2009.

“It’s a huge emotional thing for me to come back. I know all about the history. I won trophies here – cups, leagues, Champions League.

“Sir Alex Ferguson is someone I will never ever forget and I’d like to express my best possible wishes to him,” he told newsmen.

The 33-year-old was also quick to show his support to former manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who is currently recovering from a brain haemorrhage which he suffered in May.
