Rooney believes Kane has tough decision to make on Tottenham future
Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, believes Harry Kane has a very tough decision to make in regard to his future at Tottenham Hotspur. The England captain wanted to depart the north Londoners in the summer transfer window, citing a desire to win trophies as the prime motivator.
Manchester City were extremely interested in signing the 28-year-old seeing two bids of £100m and £125m stubbornly rejected by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
After months of speculation which began just before the European Championships, Tottenham managed to retain their hitman.

However, the picture has somewhat changed since that tumultuous summer as Antonio Conte has drastically improved a previously mis-firing Spurs side since he replaced Nuno Espirito-Santo in the summer.
And Rooney believes Kane, who is only six goals away from surpassing Rooney and becoming the Three Lions’ all-time top goal-scorer, has a very difficult decision on his hands.
“I spoke to Harry after the (Euro 2020) final against Italy,” Rooney said in an interview with Alan Shearer for the Athletic.
