Russia 2018 may be my last World Cup – Mikel

Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi has said he cannot guarantee if he would be part of the team that will be aiming to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Tianjin TEDA of China midfielder believes it is too early to decide what happens in four years time.
“It is my desire to lead Nigeria to their sixth FIFA World Cup. We have told Mr. President (Muhammadu Buhari) that we will do our best to make Nigerians proud in Russia.
“The focus of the team(Super Eagles) and my focus is the task at hand, but the truth is I cannot say if this (Russia 2018) will be my last or not,
“I hope in the next four years am still playing, I like to take each year as it comes,  I love to represent my country, let see what happens each year as it comes and see how my body feels and then we can take it from there,” Mikel said.
The 31-year-old will be appearing in his second World Cup after making his debut at the 2014 edition in Brazil.
