Solskjaer: Fernandes will improve McTominay

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said  Bruno Fernandes can help turn Scott McTominay into a better player.

Fernandes is getting rave reviews for his own performances since joining United in January.

“Bruno can help Scott impove, definitely. Bruno is going to give us loads, definitely, and he is going to help the young kid,” said Solskjaer.

“I shouldn’t call Scotty a kid, he is 23, but he is still learning the game. Bruno knows it inside out. He has been around, he’s travelled, he’s had his ups and downs.

He has been in Italy, Portugal so he has learned to deal with setbacks, so he will help them all including Scotty.”

Solskjaer can’t wait for his Scottish international midfielder to be fully match fit and firing.

“Scott has been important for us but he needs games as well to get back to the level that he was at before he got injured,” he added.Fallout of Utd victory: Ighalo reminded me of my playing days–Scholes
