Stoke gives Etebo jersey Number 8

Super Eagles Midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, who signed for Stoke for €7.2m has been given the same number 8
jersey he wears for Nigeria.

The jersey number was allocated to him along with the other Stoke new signings that included  Tom Ince, Benik Afobe, James McClean and Adam Federici 7, 9, 11 and 32 respectively.

Stoke who will be playing in the English Championship this season have submitted the list of allocated squad numbers to the EFL ahead of the start of the 2018/19 campaign.

It should be noted that Ince will be confirmed as number 7 once his clearance to play in EFL games comes through.

Stoke are up against ST Pauli on August 28 with Etebo expected to feature in a Pre Season game.
