Super Eagles camp latest: 15 players hit camp, undergo light training
Sportinglife.ng can authoritatively reveal that most of the Super Eagles squad members invited for Nigeria’s forthcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde have arrived camp for the double header.
Kaizer Chiefs goalie Daniel Akpeyi and Adekunle Adeleke were the early birds in camp before the arrival of Premier League stars Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.
Ten more players namely Moses Simon, Shehu Abdullahi, Ahmed Musa, Samuel Kalu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Francis Uzoho, Henry Onyekuru, Chidera Ejuke, Kingsley Michael and Kenneth Omeruo arrived at the team’s Eko Hotels and Suites on Monday, August 30, bringing the total number to fifteen.

The squad members worked out in the gym located inside the Eko Hotels for approximately thirty minutes before hitting the lawn for a light training session this evening.
The players had a game of foot-volley during the recovery session under the guidance of manager Gernot Rohr, Joseph Yobo and Alloy Agu.
