Super Eagles World Cup Squad: Arsenal Celebrates Iwobi

Premier League side Arsenal have congratulated Alex Iwobi for making the Super Eagles final list for the 2018 FIFA World Cup which was announced today.

The Gunners conveyed their wishes to the player on Sunday who is one of the few Arsenal players that will be in Russia.

“Yes @alexiwobi – big congratulations!” Arsenal was quoted on their verified Twitter handle.

Iwobi was on target for Nigeria in their 2-1 defeat to England in Saturday’s friendly at Wembley Stadium.

The Arsenal forward should be in action against Czech Republic in Austria on Wednesday.
