Super Sub, Osimhen nets brace as Lille thrash Saint-Etienne 3-0

Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen struck twice for French Ligue 1 side, Lille as they hammered Saint-Etienne 3-0 in a league match at the Stade Pierre Mauroy on Wednesday night.

He scored in the 37th and 74th minutes of play after replacing France international, Loic Remy in the 19th minute.

Jonathan Bamba scored the second from the penalty spot.

Osimhenwould have gotten a hattrick but his effort in the 77th minute was off target.

For his second goal, Osimhen trapped the ball brilliantly just inside the box before unleashing a beautiful shot on the spin into the far corner.

The 20-year-old who is expected to hit Dnipro next week for Nigeria’s friendly against Ukraine has now scored four goals.
