Transfer: Everton to bid for Villarreal dazzler Chukwueze

Everton are still hopeful in securing Nigeria forward, Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal in the summer.

The Toffees will have to avoid relegation to make such a transfer a possibility.

However, Radio Marca presenter Pedro Pablo Parrado claimed this week that Chukwueze is set for a Premier League move.

The attacker netted twice in a remarkable 3-2 win for Villarreal over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu at the weekend.

“Half the Premier League loved him, the latest one was Everton,” Parrado said.

Chukwueze has a €100 million release clause in his contract.
