Transfer window: We don’t need a player like Pogba!, says Ex-PSG striker Madar

Former PSG striker, Mickael Madar, has urged his old club to ignore Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Off contract in June, Pogba is being linked with a Bosman move to PSG.

But Madar told After Foot: “It’s not worth bringing in Tanguy Ndombele and Paul Pogba.

“No, but we have to stop, PSG just have to bring in Cristiano Ronaldo while we’re at it.

“We take CR7, we take Paul Pogba, we have Lionel Messi, we keep Kylian Mbappé, we have Neymar, we have Sergio Ramos… PSG needs a player from a completely different register than that of Paul Pogba!”

PSG had promised to pursue Pogba as their top target this summer according to L’Equipe.

The French side stand to lose Kylian Mbappe on a free this summer when his contract expires.

However they could bolster their ranks with the signing of Pogba, who is also set to run down his deal in Manchester.
