Tyson shows terrifying power, speed in latest training clip

Mike Tyson rolled back the years as he showcased his trademark speed and power in brand new training footage ahead of a sensational return to boxing.

‘Iron Mike’ took to Twitter to post a short video of himself working the pads in preparation for a return to in-ring action.

His tweet was captioned: ‘I’m a bad boy for life’, and the clip shows him unloading with ferocious shots that even stunned his trainer.

The raw aggression on display proves that ‘The Baddest Man on the Plant’ has still got the unbelievable talent that made him a world champion at 20-years-old.

Fans on Twitter have reacted to the clip and they all marveled at the skill on display.

Tyson recently revealed that he wants to return to the ring in a string of charity exhibition matches.

Speaking to rapper T.I on Instagram Live, the 53-year-old explained per Metro: “I’ve been hitting the mitts for the last week.

“That’s been tough, my body is really jacked up and really sore from hitting the mitts.

“I’ve been working out, I’ve been trying to get in the ring, I think I’m going to box some exhibitions and get in shape.

“I want to go to the gym and get in shape to be able to box three or four-round exhibitions for some charities and stuff.

“Some charity exhibitions, make some money, help some homeless and drug-affected motherfu***er like me.”

He also explained he was ‘starting to get the combinations together’ that he was known for in his prime.

If the video is Tyson only just putting the strikes together, it’s scary to think how powerful he’ll be after even more training.
