UCL: With our fans we can move mountain of impossibility, says Villarreal boss Emery

Villarreal coach, Unai Emery, believes his team is capable of upsetting Liverpool in their Champions League clash Tuesday night.

Liverpool are in Spain defending a 2-0 semifinal first-leg lead.

Emery said today: “We are very excited. The favourite was better on their field but we managed to defend well and the team is psyched up to play our match and have our chances against the best team in the world.

“To live this moment, with all our people and against a rival, and passing this would be excellent. I don’t know if we’ll be able to.

“The first thing that changes is that we play at La Cerámica with our fans. We have to win, but we have to play a brutal defensive game and from there find our game.”

He added: “We have to play a perfect game and be close to excellence to cause something that no one has done this year.”
