Video: US World Cup winner shows off skill while six months pregnant
Alex Morgan showed how her prowess in front of goal is going absolutely nowhere despite being six months pregnant.
A clip released online saw the United States women’s star take part in a number of athletic shooting drills.
And her bump barely held her back as she launched the ball into the top corner a number of times.
Viewers praised Morgan for keeping up her training and showing pregnancy can be overcome as a barrier to keeping up the day job.
Twitter user Paula praised Morgan’s “Girl Power.”
Nikola added: “BEAST.”
While Joshua jibed: “Six months pregnant and still a better player than Mendy.”
And Stephanie put any viewers’ concerns at rest with the reply: “After the second trimester, it’s advised to slow down activity. She’s OK here.”
Two-time World Cup winner Morgan, 30, announced she was pregnant in October.

The announcement that she was three months pregnant came just three months after she won the 2019 tournament with the United States.
Her partner is Servando Carrasco, a midfielder who left MLS team LA Galaxy at the end of last season, met Morgan during their time at University of California.
