The female senior national team that qualified for the Africa Women Cup of Nations billed for Ghana
later in the year were paid N50,000 for their camping allowances and transport while the 10
foriegn based players invited for the qualifier were given return tickets.

According to our source at the glass house the players did not protest because they were informed
accordingly before invitations were extended to them.

Our source added ” We called them on the telephone one by one and explained to them to avoid the ugly
incident that happened in 2016 after winning the AWCON in Cameroun. You know the federation was
embarrassed with their protest to the National Assembly and Presidency but that is in the past now. We
also developed a code of conduct for the players which they all signed. I can’t tell you how much but
I know is not less than $2,000 dollars per player which depends on the managers of the glass house”,
the source said.

The Super Falcons sealed their qualification on a 7 goals aggregate after beating Gambia 1 -0 away and
6 – 0 at the Agege Stadium in Lagos.
