Super Eagles goalkeeper Dele Alampasu has said he does not have any hard feelings after he was overlooked in a 30-man provisional squad for the World Cup next month.

Alampasu was ever present in the squad of the Super Eagles during the early days of head coach Gernot Rohr, but  later lost his place to his former deputy in the U-17 squad Francis Uzoho. One of the reasons given by Rohr for axing the former junior international was his lack of action with his Portuguese side

The CD Feirense of Portugal goalkeeper however said that he was prepared to wait for his time.

He said the quartet of Uzoho, Dele Ajiboye, Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa merited their invitation.

“I am still young so l am prepared to wait,”” he said.

Super Eagles Skipper, John Obi Mikel, who plays for Tianjin Teda of China, leads the 30 players expected to fight for inclusion in the final 23-man team for the World Cup.

The players are expected in camp in Uyo next week Monday.
