CSKA Moscow could be without a sizeable number of their fans who have decided to stay away from tonight’s UEFA Europa clash against Arsenal at the Emirates due to the political tension between the U.K and Russia.

Russian supporters have been allocated just 500 tickets for the game, but reports indicate a considerable number of those with tickets did not leave Moscow.

The development is not what CSKA striker Ahmed Musa and his teammates were expecting, but as it is they would have to move on and stay focused on the game. Musa will be up against national teammate Alex Iwobi who should be available for selection for Arsenal.

Meanwhile CSKA boss Viktor Goncharenko whose team sit third in the Russian Premier League, is not bothered about the political row between the nations.

“Let’s leave politics for policy-makers. We are football coaches and players and we came here to play football,” Goncharenko was quoted as saying by talkSPORT.
