‘It’s the biggest game of our lives. It’s even bigger because they are our neighbours. The confidence in the team is high. The semi-final was amazing, but as soon as it was over we were focusing on Saturday. It’s now or never. We have 90 minutes to take a trophy to Gambia. We have a whole nation rooting for us.

‘ It would be amazing for people in The Gambia. Just making it to the final was such a big thing for them. But that’s not enough – they are expecting the trophy. This is the first time we’re reached the [AFCON U-20] final. It’s amazing for our country and a great opportunity for us young lads to show who Gambia are.’

Bojang has been inspirational in this tournament. His only goal stopped Nigeria’s dream in the semi finals after qualifying got the World Cup proper.
