Anthony Joshua: Skiing and waiting for Fury, Wilder

Anthony Joshua has hit the slopes on a scenic skiing trip as he continues to wait for word on which heavyweight rival he will battle next.

Joshua, who shared photos and videos of himself and friends during a winter hike on Instagram, is still waiting to see who his next opponent will be with a Wembley date penciled in the diary for April 13.

The heavyweight champion would have hoped to have had a clearer view of his challenger following Tyson Fury’s fight with Deontay Wilder last weekend, but the controversial draw between the pair in Los Angeles has thrown his own plans into disarray.

The heavyweight trio are all vying for the tag of’ baddest’ man on the planet but it seems nobody can agree on which should be the next fight to make.

Wilder admitted after his thrilling brawl with Fury at the Staples Center that the Gypsy King deserves a rematch before he even considers fighting Joshua.

Indeed, the Bronze Bomber has criticised AJ and promoter Eddie Hearn, believing the pair were too slow to set up a fight with him.

‘He is getting what he deserves,’ Wilder said.

‘They thought they were the only rulers of the heavyweight division. They had four months of opportunity.

‘Their egos got the best of them so let them continue fighting second-tier heavyweights while Fury and I continue making boxing great again. I do not want any other fight. No one else.’

On whether Joshua would be a bigger fight, Wilder added: ‘You thought the first fight with Fury was great, wow, wait for the second. As for Joshua, maybe I and Tyson will do a trilogy.’

After Finkel suggested a Wilder-Joshua showdown could happen, Joshua wrote on Twitter: ‘What took this fool so long? Like we ain’t been interested?!

‘Anyway well done Fury! They (Wilder) wanted to get to you because they assumed you was finished!! I’ll give you a fair one when you’re ready. Either one of you!’
