Arsenal 3-1 Leicester City: Iwobi named Man of the Match

Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi was rated Man of the Match as he helped Arsenal to a 3-1 win over Leicester City which featured Nigerian duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

Gunners star, Iwobi showed why he is called the king of nutmegs as he riddled out of tight spots with some delicate touches putting the ball through the legs of his markers which excited the fans.

However, it was the Foxes that took the lead when Ndidi found the overlapping Ben Chilwell and his left foot shot deflected off Hector Bellerin past Bernd Leno into the net.

Arsenal hit back just before half time with a quick counter attacking move. The sweeping move which was started in midfield by Mesut Ozil was finished off by the German which an immaculate touch after receiving a return ball from Bellerin to make it 1-1.

Ndidi almost gave Leicester City the lead in the second half but his powerful header came off the crossbar and at the other end Arsenal made it 2-1 through substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the Gabon ensured the whole three points for the Gunners with a second goal after a brilliant assists from Ozil.

Iheanacho was substituted by Marc Albrighton in the 61st minute while Ndidi and Iwobi played for 90minutes.
