Arsenal list Ndidi, Vardy as obstacles to victory

Nigeria international, Wilfred Ndidi is among the four players Arsenal must stop if they must win today’s Premier League clash against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, says Just Arsenal News.

According to the news outlet,  the Foxes do not have world class players but are blessed with players capable of creating upsets if given the opponent which is where Ndidi comes in.

The Nigerian has been likened to Chelsea and France international, N’golo Kante for his knack for frustrating the opposition.

“For starters, we need to control the midfield and that means controlling Wilfred Ndidi, he frustrates the opposition in the same way N’golo Kante used to do, his proficiency in thwarting attacks and quickly passing the ball on can be extremely dangerous if he is not checked,” the news outlet said.

Youri Tielemans, James Maddison and Jamie Vardy were also mentioned as spoliers.

‘Then there is Youri Tielemans, a beautiful passer of the ball when he is in the mood, he has vision and bags of creativity and to some extent is a reminder of Riyad Mahrez and we know what he was capable of doing to the opposition when given the opportunity. Tielemans has that same potent ability.

“Finally, Jamie Vardy and we know what he can do. The former England international loves to sit on the final defender waiting for that through ball so he can use his pace and our defenders are not exactly speed merchants.

“We will have to guard Vardy intelligently if we don’t then do not be surprised to see his name on the score sheet.

Another loss for the Gunners this afternoon is likely to put an end to their hopes of securing a Champions League ticket for next season after consecutive defeats at the hands of Crystal Palace and Wolves.
