AWCON: We can get to the semi final with good preparations—Falcons coach

Super Falcons head coach, Thomas Dennerby has agreed that Nigeria can reach the semi final of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations with good preparations.

Nigeria has been drawn in group B against Kenya, Zambia and South Africa who they face on November 18 in Cape Coast, with Dennerby admitting describing the three opponents as good.

“Our other three opponents in the group [B] are good. We have three weeks to our first game against South Africa and will focus on preparing well for the matches to ensure we get to the semi-final.” #SoarSuperFalcons,” revealed Dennerby on Twitter.

Only the home based invitees have started reporting to the team’s camp in Epe, while the foreign based are expected from next week.

In Group A, host Ghana, Cameroon, Mali and Algeria make up Group A with three teams representing Africa at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
