Bad day for Iwobi  as Arsenal fall to Man City

Alex Iwobi played for 65 minutes in his 22nd Premier League appearance for Arsenal who failed to overcome Manchester City in Sunday’s premier league clash at the Etihad Stadium.

A hat-trick from Sergio Aguero which was his 10th in the premier league, gave City the victory and two points closer to league leaders Liverpool.

It was not Iwobi’s day as many think he should be blamed for City’s opening goal which came within a minute of the match.

France international, Laurent Koscielny equalised for Arsenal 10 minutes later, but the celebration was shortlived shortly before half time when Aguero added the second after being set up by Raheem Sterling.

The Argentine completed his hat-trick with the help of his hand after the hour mark to put the game beyond Arsenal who now occupy the sixth position on the table after today’s defeat.
