Barcelona asked to pay 195 million euros for Messi’s target

The Catalans will be selling off Philippe Coutinho this summer and rather than promoting Ousmane Dembele to the role of a regular left winger, it seems like they will be turning to another European counterpart in Man City to satisfy a vacancy. As per Sportskeeda, Pep Guardiola’s side has now asked Barcelona to pay 195 million euros for Leroy Sane if they want to sign him.

Meanwhile, the defending champions of Spain have to compete against arch rivals Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane’s side is also interested in signing Sane particularly because of his burst of pace and ability to get into the thick of goals. However, Eden Hazard tops their wish-list and his arrival would mean that their interest in the former Schalke man would fade away.

However, Barcelona’s biggest hurdle in the running to buy Leroy Sane is Bayern Munich. The Bavarians are expected to spend big in the summer to replace Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. Plus, the fact that Leroy Sane is from Germany he could prefer heading to his home country. Also, Bayern’s president Uli Hoeness has revealed that the club is interested in Sane.
