Bernardo Silva marries model Ines Tomaz in Portugal

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has tied the knot with stunning model Ines Tomaz in front of 250 guests including teammate Ruben Dias and the defender’s singer ex April Ivy.

Joao Felix, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Chelsea before returning to Atletico Madrid, also attended along with his actress and model ex Margarida Corceiro who has recently been linked to F1 star Lando Norris.

The ceremony and celebration took place on Saturday at a hilltop hotel and winery on a 120-hectare vineyard estate in the Douro Valley an hour and a half’s drive inland from the northern Portuguese city of Porto.

Silva’s teammates Riyad Mahrez and Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo, who is returning to Man City after Bayern Munich decided against buying the Portuguese international for £65m following a loan spell, were also among the guests.

Ines, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child, looked stunning as she said ‘I do’ in an Oscar de la Renta wedding dress.

Silva, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, opted for a suit by bespoke Lisbon-based tailors Rosa & Teixeira.

The footballer’s singer sister Maria Carvalho e Silva, 33, performed at the celebration after the formal ceremony with Bernardo showing his skills transcend the pitch by joining her on stage briefly and surprising guests with an ably-performed duo.

The newly-weds have yet to post any photos on their social media but their guests have not been so shy, with Ruben Dias’ ex showing off her stunning figure in an elegant summer dress and posting footage of the wedding couple being showered with confetti.
