In their chequered history on the continent, only once has Enyimba International FC of Aba failed to progress beyond the first round stage when they were knocked out on the away goal rule by Real Bamako of Mali in 2014.

“ Rahimo FC is very good and technical team judging from the way they played against us in the first leg because they really came out smoking with their well-coordinated style of playing,” explained Olisema who recently joined from Akwa United.

“ In fact, they (Rahimo) would have even done much damage against us if we are not an experienced side; I believe we are now better informed about them and we must be able to use our experience to get a very good result at home on Sunday.”

The 24-year-old Olisema is one of the new players recruited by Enyimba this term along with the likes of central defender and former captain of Mountain of Fire & Miracles FC, Austin Opara as well as former Lobi Stars’ goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode .

He further underlined his immediate and long term objectives at Enyimba accordingly:“ I want to do well with Enyimba especially in the Champions League and would be glad to play against Rahimo FC in Aba on Sunday.”
