CAF Confed Cup: Enyimba arrives in Abidjan in high spirit

.Anyansi charges players to remain focused

Nigeria’s representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba arrived the Felix-Houphouet Boigny International Airport, Abidjan on Friday around 11am local time ahead of their crucial group stage game against Williamsville.

The 34-man contingent led by chairman of the club, Felix Anyansi departed the Muritala Muhammad
International Airport, Lagos at 10am aboard an Air Cote d’Ivoire flight which lasted for about an hour.

On arrival at the airport and after undergoing immigration formalities, Anyansi addressed the players
to remain focused on the task ahead of the team.
“We are here for a purpose and that is to grab the three points at stake and to achieve that, we all
need to work as a team
” Make no mistake about it, our opponents are tough judging by their away records before we defeated them in Port Harcourt.

“To remain in the leadership position in our group, we need to secure a favourable result. All we want
is total commitment from the players and by the grace of God we will achieve our target and leave
Abidjan with the three points” Anyansi said.

The match between Enyimba and Williams ville, the home team comes up on Sunday at 5pm local time which
is 6 pm Nigerian time.

The Nigerian side are on top of Group B of the Confederation Cup after securing six points from three
matches and a victory here in Abidjan will help the Aba side consolidate it’s leadership position on
the log but a loss will help the Ivorian side dislodge them.
