CAF’s Best 11 Awards: Eagles’ stars not happy ignored- Rohr

Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has told SportingLife.ng that he and some of his players were disappointed that none of the Eagles stars made the best eleven players of CAF at the 2018 Awards decided in Goree Island,  near Dakar on Tuesday night.
The Eagles  Manager said some of his players he spoke with after the Awards were not only surprised of being  left out of the best eleven players in Africa but were totally disappointed  and believed that at least two to three players of the team supposed to have made the list.
Rohr,  however said that the results  of the awards will not discouraged the Eagles players but fire them up to do more for their  country and clubs to make winning next year’s  awards a reality.
“No of course, my players (Eagles) are not happy about it (being left out of the CAF 11 list) some of our players could also be in the best 11, but the choice is difficult”, Rohr disclosed to SportingLife  from his base in France.
