Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool: Moses denied home win by Reds
Victor Moses and his Chelsea teammates were denied a vital win in the premier league match played at Stamford Bridge as they were held 1-1 at home by Liverpool courtesy a late Daniel Sturridge goal.
The Blues lost their 100 percent record last week when they drew goalless in the London Derby against West Ham United while Liverpool had theirs intact following six wins out of six.
However, it was Mauricio Sarri’s men that took the initiative when a clever pass from Croatian midfielder, Mateo Kovacic was played into the in-form Eden Hazard and the Belgian placed a left foot shot past Reds goalkeeper, Alisson.
Moses replaced Brazilian winger, Willian in the second half as the Blues looked to extend their lead but with a minute left, England international Sturridge received the ball at the edge of the box and brilliant scores past world’s most expensive goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga to end the game 1-1.

The goal was Sturridge’s 50th in the premier league and helped Liverpool maintain their unbeaten record so far this season but like Chelsea their 100% record is out of the window.
