Chelsea are working on plans to send their coaches out on loan to gain experience.

The London club are already one of the most prolific users of the loan system when it comes to sending young players to the lower leagues or around Europe.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues are now taking that policy a step further and using it to get more experience for their coaching staff.

James Simmonds, the club’s Under-18s assistant coach, is joining AFC Wimbledon until December.

Simmonds will work with the first team at Wimbledon, with the move seen as a win-win for all parties.
