Chelsea star Tomori reveals his favourite Nigerian artist and track

Chelsea centre-back Fikayo Tomori said Burna Boy’s song titled Anybody gets him on his feet any day anytime.

Tomori is an African descent because his parents are from Nigeria but he was born in Canada before he went to England to develop his football skills.
The 21-year-old made his international debut for the Three Lions this month and he is ineligible to play for the Super Eagles.
Despite snubbing the three-time African champions, Tomori is still connecting with the Afrobeats sounds produced by the country’s finest artists.
During a chat with Chelsea website, the defender revealed Burna Boy’s track titled Anything as the only song that can get him on the dancefloor at the moment.
“The song guaranteed to get me on the dancefloor is Anybody by Burna Boy. The song guaranteed to get me off the dancefloor is ‘Saturday night’ [by Whigfield], the one that is always played at weddings!,” Tomori said.
‘Anything’ is a single included in Burna Boy’s African Giant album which has been nominated for the Grammy Awards.
Brighton and Hove Albion centre-back Leon Balogun is also a fan of the album and congratulated the Port Harcourt-born artiste after he was nominated for the Grammys’ Best World Music category.
