Former Super Eagles forward, Nwankwo Kanu has called on Nigerians to support the Kanu Heart Foundation towards helping children with heart-related problems.
Kanu said he would continue to put smiles on people a message he posted on Twitter while counting the achievements of the foundation since inception in 2000.
“We can’t buy them happiness but we can make them happy. 561 open heart operations done successful and 200 on waits list. Pray and support Kanu heart foundation,” he said on Twitter.

The foundation recently received a major boost from the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II) who agreed to be the patron following a visit of the two-time African Footballer of the Year to the monarch.
