Coronavirus lockdown: Osimhen craves for Amala badly

SUPER Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen is beginning to feel the consequences of the global lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Almost three weeks into Coronavirus lockdown in France, apart from missing football, the Lille stiker also disclosed where his heart is at least as far as food is concerned.

Sportinglife.ng reports that the 21-year-old took to his social media account to reveal how much he missed Nigerian food delicacy amala.

“Craving for AMALA so badly,” he posted on his Instagram account.

One of his fans, Aremooba_ however commented on the post, saying, “That one you go reach Lagos”, and the former Wolfsburg striker replied, “Dem don close border ooo”.

The Nigeria international has been in impressive form for Les Dogues during the 2019-20 campaign, finding the back of the net on 18 occasions in 38 appearances in all competitions before the league was suspended.

Due to his goalscoring exploits in recent months, runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been linked with a move for the striker.

However, according to Le 10 Sport, Lille have placed a €100m (£92.8m) asking price on the Nigerian, who has a contract at Stade Pierre-Mauroy until the summer of 2024.
