The cited media outlet reported that Dybala had tested positive for coronavirus once again, something which Sabatini, clearly affected by the events, denied on the programme ‘Confrontados’ on ‘El Nueve’ via a Whatsapp voice message.

“I don’t know where some programmes get their information from. Paulo has not tested positive again, he never tested negative. You have to wait. He has to have the latest tests and see what happens. I don’t know who gave them that information, but it certainly didn’t come from us,” Dybala’s partner began.

“We said that he had the virus and it could maybe reassure people if we said he doesn’t have it. But we don’t want to give fake news because sometimes the negative tests are wrong so we didn’t want to speak until we were 100% sure.

“These things make us rush into having to say something when we don’t have the information. We are like everyone else,” she concluded.
