Eagles star inspires La Liga club to first win in six games

Super Eagles sensation Samuel Chukwueze was on in action for Villarreal in their La Liga clash with Sevilla at the Ramon Pizjuan stadium on Sunday, December 15.

The 2019 Kopa trophy nominee was impressive against the home side and gave their right full-back plenty of problems to think about all through his stay on the pitch.

Chukwueze was later substituted in the 64th minutes and his replacement Karl Toko Ekambi, who restored Villarreal lead with 14 minutes to the end of the game.

Sevilla piled a late pressure, but Villarreal held on for the three points and end their six-game winless run in La Liga.
